Hades Print
Hades is God of the Underworld, he rules over the dead and presides over wealth. His lover is persephone, who was stolen away from the mortal plane by Hades in order to live with him in the underworld. Because of this, Persephone’s mother Demeter grieves for the half of the year when she doesn’t see her daughter, and the world goes cold and dead.
This print is part of an ongoing series of illustrations based on mythological Greek Deities. Each marble torso is a lover of said Deity, adorned with tattoos devoted to them, symbolising a part of their story, or aspects to who they are.
A5 print (148 x 210 mm). Printed on Recycled Natural Paper at 300gsm.
All prints are signed with Wildflower Studios logo on the back, and are sent in a protective bag in a hard backed envelope marked 'Do Not Bend', to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
